A quick, funny little story about our dear friend Orrin

Yesterday Orrin Hatch stopped by my company for what was basically a campaign stop. He spent most of the time answering questions from people, and I'd like to paraphrase one of the questions for you.

Random Employee: You were a big supporter of the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. Is it wrong for me to make a backup copy of my daughter's Disney DVD?

Orrin: No, of course not.

Random Employee: Well I have to break the encryption on the DVD to do that.

Orrin: Oh. That's illegal.

Random Employee: Exactly.

Orrin: Exactly.
