20 for 2005 (#13): Crooked Fingers - Dignity and Shame

I'll be the first to admit I never really cared for Archers of Loaf, Eric Bachmann's band from the mid-90s that has been elevated to mythical status in the indie rock world. So it is a nice suprise that I like each Crooked Fingers record more than the last. I don't know if this is related to the fact that he sounds more and more like Neil Diamond on each record or not. Dignity and Shame is a solid, solid record. There isn't a single song I skip past and I really had a hard time picking a song for the mp3 link here.
