20 for 2005 (#19): Andrew Bird - The Mysterious Production of Eggs
For much of the year the only song I listened to from The Mysterious Production of Eggs was Fake Palindromes, not because the rest of the album was subpar, but because it was just such an amazing song. The rest of the record is just as good and I had to resist the urge to link to Fake Palindromes here. In addition to being a mighty fine violin player, Andrew Bird is the best whistler in indie rock.
