Dios Malos

I know you have already seen Dios Malos on every mp3 blog on the planet at least two weeks ago, but I've been torn about this band ever since hearing their new record. Their first record, back when they were just Dios, really impressed me. But this new one, I don't know. Back then they were known as "the band from the Beach Boys' hometown," and their sound was very Beach Boy-influenced (but in a good way). Their new record seems to be running away from that influence by trying to appear ironic and detached from the music. There are still a few good songs on here though, and I think this might be one of those records that grows on me after a while.
