The Big Moo review
I was lucky enough to get one of the galley proofs for Seth Godin's new book The Big Moo. It was a quick read, with short anecdotal stories from 33 world-renowned business revolutionaries. It is a typical Godin read, full of colorful analogies and high concept marketing ideals that always come back to "be remarkable."
Interestingly enough, the biggest question I had while reading this was answered in this post by Hugh Macleod:
PERSON: "Yes Seth, I'm sure you're correct, but what do you do if the company you work for doesn't make remarkable products? Then how does 'Purple Cow' thinking apply?"
SETH: "It doesn't. Quit your job and go find something better."
So go read this book if you are not afraid to quit your job soon afterwards. And on that note, if you are in the Salt Lake City area and are looking for an Interactive Designer who desperately wants to work on passion-worthy projects, I think I might know a guy who can help you.
